Stacy Womack, Board Secretary

Stacy Womack is a proud mama bear of three. She has lived in Roosevelt, Utah, her whole life. After high school, she married her partner, and they had three kids. Unexpectedly, in 2013, her partner passed away.

Stacy joined the Uintah Basin Equality Center in 2018 to find resources for her queer offspring. She attended the first Pride picnic held in Roosevelt. In 2022, looking to become more involved, she started attending Pride planning meetings and met some of the most incredible people you can know.

Stacy enjoys spending time with her kids and friends. She loves traveling and sees a lot more girl trips in her future. She also has 4 dogs that are her constant companions when she’s hanging around the house.

Stacy wants to build a safe, inclusive space for all LGBTQIA+ in Basin especially the youth that might not have anywhere else to turn.

Mindee Zager is a queer mama bear of three incredible, diverse children. She moved to the Uintah Basin with her partner in 2008 and has been working hard to bring about the changes needed to make the Uintah Basin a more inclusive, diverse area.

She holds a BS of Marketing Management and an MBA. She proudly works as the Program and Marketing Coordinator for the Center for Intersectional Gender Studies & Research at Utah State University and runs a marketing business, Strategy Marketing & Design, during her “free time.” She currently serves as the Chair of the Uintah County Democratic Party.

She enjoys playing the piano and guitar, singing her guts out, and has been a lifelong student of dance. She is, at present, an amateur drag artist. She enjoys wakeboarding with her family and spends every moment she can on the water, creating memories with her loved ones.

Her passion is activism and she lives to serve the community. She hopes to change the Uintah Basin one fight at a time.
